Breakfast treats
French Toast with Strawberries
Serves 1, 10 mins preparation
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of Kingsmill 50/50
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of semi skimmed milk
- Butter or oil for cooking
- Honey
- Strawberries
Method:
Cut 2 medium slices of Kingsmill 50/50 into 4 triangles. Beat the egg with the milk and dip the bread into the mixture so that it is fully coated. Heat some butter or oil in a pan and cook the slices until golden brown on both sides and then place on a plate. Drizzle with honey and serve with some fresh strawberries.
Tip: this recipe is great for stale bread, or you can leave some slices in the fridge overnight, ready for use for breakfast the next day.
